Plants and animals in Fife are set to be safeguarded thanks to the hard work of a small office in the Pitcairn Ranger Centre near Glenrothes. The Fife Nature Records Centre has just received a grant of £45,000 from Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) to continue its work documenting biodiversity in the Kingdom over the next three years.
